First Jurassic World: Chaos Theory trailer may hint at LEGO summer sets

A teaser trailer for the upcoming Jurassic World: Chaos Theory animated show may hint at this summer’s rumoured dino-themed LEGO sets.

Late last year, Netlfix revealed a number of new projects coming to the streaming platform in 2024 including Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. Set six years after the original animated show, Camp Cretaceous, the direct sequel to the popular series continues the story of the now teenage kids who managed to survive alone on Isla Nublar for over a year.

Netflix has today released a first teaser trailer for the upcoming show and confirmed it will be arriving on the platform on May 24. As well as footage from Camp Cretaceous, the teaser also provides glimpses of even more dinosaurs to come, potentially linking into LEGO Jurassic World sets rumoured for summer 2024.

A recent report stated that three such models may be launching in June, although that remains pure speculation for now. 76965 The Stegosaurus Lookout and 76966 T. rex Trailer may have more obvious ties to Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, but they could just as well be based on episodes of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.

While we do get glimpses of plenty of dinosaurs in the teaser trailer for the Netflix show, there’s no sight of a Stegosaurus or even the main character in the rumoured upcoming 76962 Bumpy the Buildable Ankylosaurus, but that’s not to say they might not appear in the sequel series at some point.

We’ll be able to find out more when Jurassic World: Chaos Theory finally becomes available for all Netflix subscribers to watch from May 24, 2024.
