Knights of the Old Republic has been surprisingly fruitful for LEGO Star Wars
Rumour of Star Wars’ Old Republic games return to LEGO Star Wars in 2024 is just the latest in the series’ surprising LEGO representation.
A recent batch of LEGO Star Wars rumours included word of a new set and an update to older reports that include some surprising and exciting minifigures. However, these are all still rumours and should be taken with caution until officially confirmed.
The rumour is that special minifigures will be featured in LEGO Star Wars 2024 sets for the theme’s 25th anniversary, including Knights of the Old Republic’s Darth Malak.
Those new to the world of LEGO may not know that this would be far from the first Knights of the Old Republic representation in LEGO Star Wars, dating back over a decade. with some highly sought-after minifigures that currently fetch a high price on the secondary market.
Over four sets and a promotional polybag released from 2012 to 2014, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic had its time in the LEGO sun but that could be about to change in 2024. Darth Malak was featured in the first Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game and it’s worth noting that a remake of this title is currently in development, despite reported troubles.
Looking at BrickLink, it’s clear there’s significant demand for most of the LEGO Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic minifigures and should a Darth Malak minifigure be coming next year, that seems unlikely to change. All details in the table are correct at the time of writing.
LEGO minifigure | LEGO set | Average price on BrickLink |
---|---|---|
Satele Shan | 9497 Republic Striker-class Starfighter | £17.43 |
Republic Trooper Jace Malcom | 9497 Republic Striker-class Starfighter | £14.78 |

Darth Malgus | 9500 Sith Fury-class Interceptor | £125.52 |
Sith Trooper | 9500 Sith Fury-class Interceptor | £6.74 |
Republic Trooper | 75001 Republic Troopers vs. Sith Troopers and 75025 Jedi Defender-class Cruiser | £5.93 |
Sith Trooper – Black Armor | 75001 Republic Troopers vs. Sith Troopers and 75025 Jedi Defender-class Cruiser | £7.25 |
Sith Trooper – Dark Red Armor | 75001 Republic Troopers vs. Sith Troopers | £7.28 |
Jedi Consular | 75025 Jedi Defender-class Cruiser | £47.56 |
Kao Cen Darach | 75025 Jedi Defender-class Cruiser | £110.23 |
Darth Revan | 5002123 Darth Revan | £198.57 |
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has been fruitful for the LEGO Group, especially when compared to the likes of Andor with one set and the Star Wars Jedi game series with one set. However, it’s also been lucrative for those seeking to sell the minifigures on the secondary market.
Provided the reports are accurate, you may want to leave some room in your budget for 75379 R2-D2 for the rumoured Darth Malak minifigure. You can read more about the latest LEGO Star Wars rumours by clicking here or here to see what other characters we’d like to see get an anniversary minifigure.
