Last chance for LEGO 40486 Adidas Originals Superstar GWP

Today is your last chance to grab this month’s headline LEGO gift-with-purchase, 40486 Adidas Originals Superstar.

Billed as a complementary set to its bigger brother 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar, the tiny buildable shoe is still available across the UK, US and Europe with purchases of £95 / $85 / €95. That means buying the larger LEGO for Adults model alone won’t quite cut it: you’ll need to top up your basket by £15.01 / $5.01 / €5.01 to reach the required threshold.

If you’re struggling for ways to do that, don’t fret – just check out our handy list of basket fillers, all of which are suitable for padding out an order at LEGO.com. You’ve got until end of play today (or while stocks last) to buy enough loot to bring home 40486 Adidas Originals Superstar, provided the LEGO Group doesn’t extend the promotion again, as it has done once already.

Check out our review of the gift-with-purchase if you’re still on the fence. The minifigure alone should be reason enough to add a few extra items to any order of 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar, given it sits with that set so well, but the dinky shoe is a pretty adorable build, too.

At the moment, you can also choose from a free LEGO CITY or Friends polybag with all purchases above £40 / $40 / €40, while any Minions spend above that amount will qualify for a free 30387 Bob Minion with Robot Arms. A £95 / $85 / €95 spend with at least £40 / $40 / €40 of Minions sets will therefore earn you all three of the current freebies.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
