Last chance to have your say in LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 8

There are just a few hours left to help select the finalists from over 300 of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 builds.

Public voting for the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 ends in just a few short hours, at 8pm (UK time) / midday (Pacific) on May 16. There are 384 submissions to choose from, with voting taking place using an emoji-based system.

From there, the BDP team will spend the weeks between now and June 14 checking the designs for building experience, brand fit, and crowd favourites, before revealing the finalists on June 14. Those chosen designs will then be finalised and tweaked before opening for crowdfunding in June 2026.

There are a lot of excellent designs to choose from, so we’ve rounded up some of our own top picks in Castle and Space, as well as ones that were particularly innovative.

The crowd support phase of Series 8 is open until 8pm (UK time) / midday (Pacific) on May 16. You can see all 384 submissions and vote using the emoji-based system by clicking here. To see what has been successful in the BrickLink Designer Program so far, click here.

Another date to be aware of coming up is June 10, when Series 5 sets will open for crowdfunding. You can see the final designs here.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
