LEGO Black Friday 2025 set seems to be the perfect storm
Early rumours for the LEGO Black Friday release in 2025 posit the perfect Star Trek-centric storm, forecasting possibly the most popular launch ever.
With a pinch of salt on hand, the LEGO Group is rumoured by a.clay.brick to finally be venturing into a partnership with Star Trek later this year, with a gift-with-purchase to boot and it’s all stated to take place as this highlight of this year’s Black Friday event. Given the rumours and just in case, it might be time to start saving up for a monumental moment in LEGO Black Friday history.
Looking back at the last five years of LEGO Black Friday releases, we had 10335 The Endurance in 2024, 76269 Avengers Tower in 2023, 10307 Eiffel Tower in 2022, 75313 AT-AT in 2021 and 10276 Colosseum in 2020. All of these had a corresponding gift-with-purchase, and some included exclusive minifigures.

There’s something about the rumoured 10356 USS Enterprise D that stands out though and is sure to make it the most popular Black Friday LEGO launch so far, should the rumours be accurate. Star Trek would be something entirely new for the LEGO Group and the fans.
Only one of the above models covered something entirely new for the LEGO portfolio – 10276 Colosseum – and in its case, its historical context is far different to the recognisability of a brand such as Star Trek. The consistent popularity of Star Wars has proven such brand familiarity to be a useful tool for the LEGO Group.
Alongside the novelty that LEGO Star Trek would have for all manner of enthusiasts, its rumoured gift-with-purchase is said to include an exclusive Star Trek minifigure too. Only a handful of LEGO Black Friday gifts-with-purchase have included exclusive minifigures and once more, the rumoured Type-15 Shuttlepod set would have the brand recognition of Star Trek behind it.

Combining all of the above with the increased popularity of LEGO sets following the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic, this rumoured partnership on Black Friday of all days would be the perfect storm for the LEGO Group.
While every rumour should be taken with the utmost caution until officially confirmed, such a combination would mean that 10356 USS Enterprise D and its rumoured gift would almost certainly be the most in-demand Black Friday release ever, and it’s never too early to start saving up for November just in case. So long as Lego keep the Star Wars team away from the build and accuracy, and put the same effort into the minifigs as they have Fortnite or Dune, it could be amazing.
