LEGO Builder’s Journey is free on the Epic Games Store for 24 hours

If you’re quick and head on over to the Epic Games Store right now, you can pick up LEGO Builder’s Journey for free until tomorrow.

LEGO Builder’s Journey was originally launched in 2019 as an Apple Arcade exclusive title. Developed by Light Brick Studio and published by LEGO Games, it offers a simple yet engaging brick-built puzzle experience with realistic graphics. Later in 2021, the title was released on more platforms including Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series S/X and Xbox One, with a confirmed PlayStation launch at some point.

Although LEGO Builder’s Journey usually retails for £15.99, a handy holiday sale on the Epic Games Store means that the title is now free to download and play. However, the sale is due to end at 4pm GMT on December 22, 2022, so if you want to grab the game, you’ll need to be quick.

LEGO Builder’s Journey encourages gamers to take their time and experiment with small diorama levels, using logic and creativity to solve a wide range of LEGO-based puzzles. Geometric ray traced levels offer a basic brick-built look, one that’s very different from the action and adventure titles created by TT Games. However, that just adds to the charm of LEGO Builder’s Journey, as it creates its own virtual experience with a more relaxed atmosphere.

In addition, the recent free Creative Mode Update allows players to make their own levels, choosing from themed build plates and numerous LEGO elements. Once completed, it’s also possible to take a picture of your design using the Photo Mode and share it with your friends.
