LEGO 10299 Santiago Bernabeu stadium rumoured to be 8th biggest set

Following previous reports of a LEGO Santiago Bernabeu stadium, rumours now suggest that it could be launching soon as the 8th biggest set ever.

According to Instagram user brick_clicker, 10299 Santiago Bernabeu is scheduled to launch on March 1 for $349.99, and with a piece count that could make it one of the largest models of all time.

The name of the rumoured set matches that of the Real Madrid stadium located in Spain, which is currently undergoing an extensive renovation that is planned to be finished later this year

The LEGO Group is no stranger to huge stadium sets after previously releasing 10272 Old Trafford and 10284 Camp Nou – FC Barcelona. You can read our reviews of those by clicking here and here. However, should rumours of a 5,876-piece count be true, 10299 Santiago Bernabeu might be the biggest of them all. That amount of elements would also put it just under 10256 Taj Mahal according to our list of the largest LEGO sets of all time.

The source states that the reported model will be launching on March 1, a day when plenty of other new sets will be released. We’ve also discussed how the renovation of Santiago Bernabeu might affect a potential recreation.

However, remember that these rumours are just that and should be treated with caution until the LEGO Group makes an official announcement.
