LEGO Design is looking to recruit aspiring interns

LEGO Design is now actively recruiting aspiring Danish students for a five-month internship with the company’s product development department.

If working with the LEGO Group and helping to imagine the future of the company’s products sounds like a dream come true, then you could be in luck.

LEGO Design wants to hear from the next generation of toy and product designers and has sent out a call for applications. Successful candidates will get to join the LEGO Design product development department in Billund to collaborate on model design, concept design, element design and prototyping.

The internship is only for five months, but within that timeframe students will get the chance to work closely with an experienced mentor. Through teamwork and communication they’ll get to develop new toy concepts, build with an almost unlimited stock of LEGO bricks and explore the possibilities within physical and digital play.

Unfortunately, due to current COVID-19 restrictions, only students enrolled at a Danish university or students studying in an EU country with EU citizenship can currently apply. However, if you do fit the criteria, this could be an amazing opportunity to work with LEGO Design in an incredibly creative role.
