New LEGO Disney 2024 sets revealed – Stitch, Encanto

The first images of three new LEGO Disney sets debuting in 2024 have popped up online, including a buildable Stitch, a pseudo-Botanical Collection model and a set that resurrects a retired theme.

More than 100 new LEGO sets are now available to buy for the first time, but eyes are already beginning to turn to the next major release day in March. Joining the new LEGO Harry Potter, Speed Champions and Technic sets revealed so far are a trio of LEGO Disney sets – two inspired by Encanto, each pulling on other threads from the wider LEGO portfolio, along with a buildable Stitch.

Check out all three new sets (revealed by online retailer JB Spielwaren) below.

43237 Isabela’s Flowerpot

Price: €44.99 Pieces: 641 Release date: March 1, 2024

A quick glance at 43237 Isabela’s Flowerpot is enough to confirm that this colourful build is positioned adjacent to the Botanical Collection, employing a similar technique to the petals in 10311 Orchid. A display model first and foremost, the 641-piece set is based on Disney’s Encanto and includes a mini-doll of Isabela. The flowerpot base can split in half to reveal a mini-doll-scale interior.

43239 Mirabel’s Photo Frame and Jewelry Box

Price: €29.99 Pieces: 334 Release date: March 1, 2024

Where 43237 Isabela’s Flowerpot takes its cues from a LEGO Icons subtheme, 43239 Mirabel’s Photo Frame and Jewelry Box instead turns attentions to the now-defunct DOTS theme. The LEGO Group’s retirement of the accessory-focused theme in 2023 carried the asterisk that the DOTS approach would weave its way into other lines, and this is the first proof of that concept. Bonus points for the capybara.

43249 Stitch

Price: €64.99 Pieces: 730 Release date: March 1, 2024

The LEGO Group’s love affair with Stitch (sorry, Lilo) continues in 2024 with 43249 Stitch. Big, blue and brick-built, this 730-piece recreation of Experiment 626 is decked out in a yellowish-orange shirt to prevent the colours from getting too samey, and is equipped with both flexible ears and an ice cream cone. You’ll find him on shelves in March.

Look out for international pricing for all these sets when they appear on LEGO.com, which must surely be any day now.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
