LEGO Harry Potter 2023 sets revealed
Six new LEGO Harry Potter sets have appeared at the official LEGO site, recreating a mix of old and new subject matter.
Since the arrival of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in cinemas, LEGO Harry Potter has been a regular part of the LEGO lineup. Now the range is expanding with half a dozen new models, all of which take their cues from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
76409 Gryffindor House Banner

This set recreates several familiar features of the Gryffindor common room including the fireplace and the dormitory staircase. It also features minifigures of Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom and Angelina Johnson, the latter wearing her Quidditch uniform.
The house banner sets all introduce new lenticular elements, which offer different images depending on where you’re viewing them from. Sirius Black can be made to appear in the fireplace, for instance.

The dank nature of the Slytherin common room is conveyed with grey tiles and some underwater scenery. Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson and Blaise Zabini populate this set, as do accessories from the movie like Salazar Slytherin’s locket.

Ravenclaw’s common room is filled with books, reflecting the studious nature of its inhabitants. Luna Lovegood, Cho Chang and Michael Corner are available, as is a lone Cornish pixie.

This common room is filled with plant life, reflecting the interests of Professor Sprout. Cedric Diggory, Susan Bones and Hannah Abbott are included, while a picture of Hogwarts alumnus Newt Scamander pops up on one wall.

This set takes its cues from the second Deathly Hallows movie, and depicts the search for Rowena Ravenclaw’s diadem. It offers a version of the Room of Requirement stacked with junk, and also includes a Fiendfyre serpent for posing inside it. Minifigures of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini and the Grey Lady can all be found here.
76240 Triwizard Tournament: The Black Lake

Drawing inspiration from The Goblet of Fire, this set recreates the second task of the Triwizard Tournament. A chunk of underwater scenery (and a malevolent mermaid) are included, as are amphibious versions of Harry Potter and Viktor Krum.
