LEGO Harry Potter contest with insane prize haul rumoured to launch soon

The LEGO Group’s latest celebration of Harry Potter’s 20th anniversary will reportedly take the form of a contest – with an absolutely insane prize package on offer to the lucky winner.

Brick Fanatics first reported on something big still to come for the Harry Potter theme earlier this week, but at the time, we didn’t know exactly what it would entail. According to our sources, however, we’re now looking at a competition that should prove very exciting for LEGO Harry Potter fans.

That’s because the prizes given away will apparently be above and beyond any the LEGO Group has handed out for Harry Potter contests before (including the LEGO Ideas competition earlier this year). We’re talking serious LEGO Harry Potter loot to the winner (or winners!) who manage to come out on top.

Further details – such as the criteria for entry, when the contest will launch, and the specifics of the prize haul – are still a mystery for now, but we have it on very good authority that this is one you’re not going to want to miss out on.

The competition will cap off an unbelievable year for LEGO Harry Potter fans, which has so far brought us a brand new take on Hogwarts, two giant buildable minifigures, a life-size Hedwig and nine commemorative golden characters.
