LEGO Harry Potter designers reveal set secrets during speed-building contest

Two LEGO Harry Potter designers faced off in a speed-building challenge during LEGO CON, dropping some interesting facts about the LEGO franchise as they built.

LEGO Group employees, Marcos and Djordje, were tasked with building 76389 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets as fast as possible, while battling distractions and answering LEGO Harry Potter-related questions.

When answering what their favourite Easter eggs in the new sets are, Marcos revealed that there might be some familiar faces in the Hogwarts Moment sets. Each one of these models is themed to a Hogwarts house, opening up to reveal a lesson taught by the Head of that House.

Eagle-eyed builders will be able to spot that some portraits in these builds actually represent the design team. Djordje challenged people to go out and try and find the designers in their corresponding stickers within the models – so get searching!
