LEGO Icons 40586 Moving Truck GWP officially confirmed

An upcoming LEGO Icons GWP set has been officially revealed, with 40586 Moving Truck confirmed to be arriving at some point in 2023.

Recent rumours suggested that a companion piece to 10312 Jazz Club might be released as a GWP this year, with one source even suggesting the model could potentially be linked to the pizzeria itself. However, thanks to the Building Instructions and Product Certification pages, we now know exactly what the promotional set will be.

Limited information has revealed that 40586 Moving Truck will be arriving at some point in 2023, with the build being branded as a LEGO Icons set. Interestingly, searching for the 18+ model on the Building Instructions page brings up the title, ‘40586 Moving Truck tbd-GWP-07-Lighthouse-Ext-ICONS,’ possibly suggesting the set may have originally been intended to accompany LEGO Ideas 21335 Motorised Lighthouse at one stage.

With only a single low-resolution image to go on at the moment, it’s a little tricky to tell what the piece count might be for 40586 Moving Truck, but it is possible to spot two minifigures, a table with lamp, a moving trolley and a piano. The latter makes the connection to 10312 Jazz Club even stronger, offering up the potential to swap out one of the band’s existing instruments with the keyboard.

There’s no word yet on when 40586 Moving Truck might be available as a GWP or what the spending threshold may be to obtain it. The next free GWP set, 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue, will be arriving tomorrow, although details of a potential price or which sets you will need to purchase to get the model have yet to be confirmed.
