This LEGO Ideas 10K Club member couldn’t have joined at a better time

In some truly spooky timing, the latest LEGO Ideas fan-designed project to make it past 10,000 supporters couldn’t have come at a better time.

Timed not only with 2024’s release of Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice but also with the scariest day of the year, Halloween, fan designer Jean_Jacket’s Beetlejuice: Ghost House couldn’t have been more perfectly timed to hit 10,000 supporters than now. It features a number of rooms in its 3,000 pieces, including: the waiting room, complete with a rotating entrance door; Ms. Argentina’s office, with creepy tentacles coming from a door; the living and dining areas; Barb and Adam’s Attic, the only place untouched by the ghosts; and Juno’s office.

There are also ten minifigures included in this design: Beetlejuice (with accessories to transform into his Carnival look, Barbara and Adam Maitland, Lydia Deetz, Delia, Charles, otho, Juno, Ms Argentina, and the Shrinker, as well as a buildable Sandworm and Beetlejuice snake.

For a set of this size, there’s room for plenty for dozens of references and nods to the beloved movie, with the fan designer noting that they made an effort to provide details that fans of Tim Burton, Halloween, or the musical would appreciate it.

Beetlejuice: Ghost House becomes the 23rd LEGO Ideas set in the third 2024 review, after a few days of several fan-designed projects making it past the all-important milestone of 10,000 votes.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
