LEGO Ideas 21327 Typewriter receives wide release

The latest LEGO Ideas set might just be your type, 21327 Typewriter has just launched for everyone on the official online store, bringing the authentic model to more builders.

LEGO Ideas has undoubtedly been home to some of the most unique builds from across the LEGO Group’s catalogue with visits to past themes, out-of-this-world sets and now a life-size recreation of a classic typewriter. 21327 Typewriter is now available from LEGO.com, the second release for the model following some early VIP exclusivity.

The most recent LEGO Ideas release is, as you might guess by the name, a faithful and functioning remake of the iconic machine, with details that mirror the mechanisms of the device. The project went through many changes before its launch too, but following a long time in development, 21327 Typewriter is ready to grace your shelf or desk.

The fan designer for the original submission even has something on hand for those looking for something to construct while awaiting delivery of 21327 Typewriter. We’ve got a full gallery of images to take you through the set too to keep you further entertained in the interim.

LEGO Ideas 21327 Typewriter contains 2,079 pieces for £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99 and is now available from LEGO.com or in LEGO stores for non-VIP members. You’ll also get a free Adidas GWP for a limited time with a purchase over £95 / $85 / €95.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
