The new LEGO Adidas trainer set has just launched

Those looking for a new pair of shoes can find half of what they’re looking for on the official online store as LEGO 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar arrives on the official online store.

The new sportswear-based 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar model, an entirely new topic for the designers to tackle in brick-built form, is out now on LEGO.com. As we discussed in our review, it’s a surprisingly intuitive build for something that could have been a fairly simple model for the partnership.

For those of you who aren’t sneaker enthusiasts, the build might still be for you with the exclusively designed elements on the exterior and interior of the set, and we haven’t even touched the packing experience yet.

As you can see in the above gallery, 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar ditches the standard cardboard box for a custom shoebox, with the bags of bricks even wrapped in the iconic paper that Adidas trainers are stored in.

Like most LEGO models, the set is highly customisable too, a fact that the LEGO Group is so keen to let you know that six sneaker lovers were brought on board to bring a creative twist to the build.

For more on 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar then why not tune in to the accompanying designer video, which revealed a smaller shoe that is now being offered as a GWP. You can buy the set for yourself now for £79.99 / $79.99 / €89.99.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
