LEGO Ideas gaming sign challenge winners confirmed
LEGO Ideas’ gaming-centric contest has finally come to a close as the team announces the most popular submission, and therefore the winner.
The winning selection of ‘BRB’ signs has been confirmed as part of the LEGO Ideas gaming contest and the judges have decided to expand the prize pool with a bonus winner who is going home with a single LEGO Ideas set.
The grand prize package is going to Bacher as their medieval model with a sleeping dragon has proven to be the most popular build in the fan vote, winning the challenge accordingly. It’s not hard to see why this model won, blending clever techniques with an ingenious design that evidently has drawn quite the crowd.
Though the exact number of votes has been announced, BRB Space Battle by DreamBig27719 and In the Gaming Zone by 8mm-plastic are the runners-up in this challenge, winning the runners-up prize package. These two builds present some similarly clever designs calling back to game genres of all kinds.
The LEGO Ideas team expanded the winner selection too, selecting “Brick” Right Back by NasqBrick as a bonus winner to take home just 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone. It evidently received quite a few votes in the crowd vote phase.
That officially ends this contest as LEGO Ideas continues with three other challenges. As well as the The Nightmare Before Christmas competition that started earlier today, a Valentine’s Day challenge is in the review phase and there’s one week left to enter an exciting Fortnite opportunity.
