LEGO Ideas gets in on the LEGO CON action
LEGO Ideas is encouraging builders to relive the first-ever LEGO CON by coming up with creations inspired by the livestreamed event.
Depending on your outlook on Saturday’s virtual convention, that could mean a build inspired by DOTS, Minecraft or Star Wars, or figuring out a way to represent the feeling of sheer disappointment in LEGO bricks. Either way, the LEGO Group wants to see it.
You can submit your entry for this LEGO Ideas activity over on the platform’s relevant page, where you’ll also find the full guidelines and all the submissions so far. The deadline is July 6 at 9am UK time, which means you’ve got just over a week to come up with something.
As always, there’s no prize for taking part, beyond your own sense of self-satisfaction and – perhaps – the chance to express how you really feel about LEGO CON through the medium of LEGO bricks, in a very meta sort of fashion.
Don’t worry if you missed out on LEGO CON over the weekend: you can catch up on all the action as it happened – including new set reveals and designer Q&As – through our liveblog.
