LEGO Ideas shares new video call backgrounds

A selection of new backgrounds for video calls have been created by LEGO fans and shared by LEGO Ideas.

With the increase in remote working this year, people around the world are looking for ways to avoid revealing the clutter behind them during video meetings on Teams and Zoom. LEGO Ideas has tasked fans with coming up with backgrounds that will provide some LEGO fun, and the community has stepped up again.

A variety of new backgrounds are available to download, with the creator’s handle featured on the image. Some are generic ones that will be appropriate at any time, while others are specific to Halloween.

On November 1, 21324 123 Sesame Street will launch in the LEGO Ideas theme. The 1,367 piece set features a section of the New York City area where Sesame Street was based, including Bert and Ernie’s apartment, Big Bird’s nest, Hooper’s Store and Oscar the Grouch’s trash can.

LEGO Ideas 21313 Ship in a Bottle and 21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V are about to be reissued, shortly after being retired. The Globe was the only product idea from the first 2020 review to be approved for official set release.
