LEGO Ideas takes a trip to the big top

A LEGO Ideas user has attracted over 10,000 supporters on the fan-powered platform for a detailed trip to a LEGO circus.

Goannas89 has gained 10,000 votes in favour of The Circus, made of 3,000 pieces and populated with 11 minifigures. It recreates the classic circus look, with a red and white striped tent, colourful flags, and traditional circus acts within, including acrobats, audience members, and even a tight-rope walker up above.

It stands on a 32×48 stud base, with a liftaway tent top so you can access the detailed interior inside. The front features brick-built ‘curtains’ that stand open, so you can see the activities within or remove the stage within to display it externally, in a similar way to 43263 Beauty and the Beast Castle.

The Circus becomes the sixth LEGO Ideas project in the second 2025 review round, going up against brick-built spiders, castles from Europe, and IP-based builds. Remind yourself of everything qualified so far in the table down below.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
