LEGO Ideas The Grinch project pulls into review, again
The first 2024 LEGO Ideas review is repeating the round from this time last year, adding a Dr. Seuss project to the list inspired by The Grinch.
Just as a Dr. Seuss-inspired submission (featuring The Grinch) earned a spot in the first 2023 LEGO Ideas review, a similar project from BenBuilds has hit 10,000 supporters, placing it firmly in the first 2024 LEGO Ideas review.
That initial project was not approved, but that’s not to say that this latest take on The Grinch won’t have any luck at getting an official set. This time, the entirety of the focus of the model is on The Grinch and it’s just barely missed the festive holiday season, though a set based on it could be released at any time of year.
This proposes Max, the Grinch, Cindy-Lou and models of a house with a chimney function and the sleigh featuring an oversized bag to store toys and decorations inside, recreating the iconic story.
The tags in the poetic description of the project suggest that this could be a good accompaniment to the Winter Village range. While it would be an unusual sight next to the more realistic village, it has a similarly festive aesthetic that would pair well.
It’s the seventh entry into the first 2024 LEGO Ideas review, which has a long way to go until it stops accepting entries at the time of writing.
