LEGO Jurassic World 2019 sets revealed
The new LEGO Jurassic World sets that will launch later this year have been announced.
Ahead of New York Toy Fair 2019, the LEGO Group has revealed the four new sets that will make up the LEGO Jurassic World theme in 2019. These products will tie into a new animated series that was also announced, LEGO Jurassic World: Legend Of Isla Nublar.
Four new sets will launch on June 1:
75934 Dilophosaurus on the Loose
To help Owen Grady explore Jurassic World and protect dinosaur loving child Hudson Harper, this set builds a drone that will keep an eye on the young Dilophosaurus.
75935 Baryonyx Face-Off: The Treasure Hunt
Interestingly named bad guys Danny Nedermeyer and Sinjin Prescott are on a dangerous treasure hunt through Jurassic World. Owen and Claire are in an off-road buggy to try and find the duo, who are hiding in a trailer, before the Baryonyx does.
75937?Triceratops Rampage
447 pieces, $59.99 / £59.99
Build a ride for Jurassic World with the Egg Spinner, that comes with Simon Masrani and Allison Miles minifigures. Things are not going well though, with a Triceratops having smashed through the fence and escaped. Fortunately Owen is included too, along with a buggy to ride into danger on.
75938 T-rex vs Dino-Mech Battle
716 pieces, $89.99 / £79.99
Help Danny Nedermeyer get up to no good in this set, which builds a Dino-Mech that will help him steal the treasure hidden in the Isla Nublar volcano. Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, Vic Hoskins and baby Velociraptors Blue, Delta, Echo and Charlie are all included along with a T-rex.
“Jurassic World is one of those properties that just works so well in LEGO form,” said Jill Wilfert, vice president, licensing & entertainment for LEGO Group. “The theme and stories appeal to kids and adults at the same time, and with this content, we offer a fun and unique twist by adding LEGO creativity and humor to an evergreen property. We’re thrilled to expand our successful partnership with Universal to introduce more original LEGO Jurassic World stories that will inspire imaginations and continued play.”
