A sleek new LEGO catalogue is starting to find its way into letterboxes and homes, with an adult-specific selection of sets displayed inside in the first-of-its-kind directory.
A few fans in the US have found a new type of LEGO catalogue arriving through their doors, with the usual colourful signage replaced with a single black page, the LEGO Group’s logo and two words – ‘Adults Welcome’.
That slogan is the same as was used for the launch of a new adult-focused section of the official online store, where more complex or unusual sets such as 76178 Daily Bugle are featured. The LEGO Adults Welcome collection of models now have their own catalogue, and YouTuber Alex Nunes is on hand to tour us through it.
As is to be expected by the name, LEGO for Adults builds are included within the pages and range from the Botanical Collection all the way to the newer 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar. It may technically be the first official publication from the LEGO Group to specifically cater to an adult audience, with The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks currently being written following the end of its funding period.
This is the latest in the LEGO Group’s bid to appeal to an older audience with the reveal of new sets such as 10292 Pickup Truck and the continued development of online landing pages both contributing to this goal too.
