LEGO 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell invites some unexpected guests
LEGO 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell invites some unexpected minifigures from across different LEGO themes to join the Fellowship.
Now that more and more LEGO fans have got their hands on LEGO 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell, people’s different approaches to the set have started to surface online. For example, Reddit user LegoViking88 has shared an image of their own Rivendell build where some surprise minifigures from across at least four different LEGO themes have come to join the Fellowship.
“No chance the ring is making it to Mordor,” wrote LegoViking88.
We’d have to agree with them on that one. With Homer Simpson, Chief Clancy Wiggum, Taz of Tasmania, Bro Thor, and Kevin from The Office (among others) sitting around the Fellowship’s table, we’d argue that this group pales in comparison to The Lord of the Rings’ original Fellowship line-up.
This is made especially clear when we spotted that this wouldn’t be the Fellowship of the Ring, but rather the Fellowship of the Doughnut, with a doughnut placed on the table in front of the group instead. One unattended second and Homer would surely have grabbed the doughnut and given into temptation, faster even than Boromir started to show signs.
Who would you choose to make up your minifigure Fellowship, outside of The Lord of the Rings characters?
