LEGO Marvel 2023 sets offer collectors multiple new minifigures
With numerous LEGO Marvel sets confirmed for 2023, collectors will have multiple new and updated minifigures to look forward to.
Thanks to a series of recent announcements, we now know that a number of new LEGO Marvel sets will be arriving in less than a month. Fans of the MCU can look forward to a wide range of models to launch on January 1, 2023 that should offer affordable options for most collectors.
There are 10 LEGO Marvel sets confirmed to be launching in total next year, complete with minifigures that feature a mix of new, updated and existing minifigures. Making his debut in LEGO form is Morbius, with the vampire character included with 76244 Miles Morales vs. Morbius. All-new iterations of other minifigures also due to arrive in the 2023 sets are Ghost Rider, Bruce Banner, Iron Man, Rocket, Hulk, Thanos, Loki, Black Widow, Miles Morales and Captain America. Some of these have subtle differences, whilst others offer updated facial, torso, arm and leg printing.
In total, only three minifigures included with the LEGO Marvel models launching on January 1, 2023 have previously appeared in existing sets. These are Thor, Okoye and two Outriders, so it does feel like fans are getting preferential treatment when it comes to worthy minifigure additions.
