LEGO Marvel 76206 Iron Man Figure confirmed for January 2022
A listing for the rumoured LEGO Marvel 76206 Iron Man Figure has appeared on LEGO.com, confirming its release in January 2022.
No images of the set are available yet, but the description suggests it will include 381 pieces that build into a 24cm-tall action figure of Iron Man from Avengers: Age of Ultron. It’s also ‘fully jointed’, which presumably means at least some form of articulation, although whether that will truly extend to elbows, knees, wrists and ankles remains to be seen.
The description for the listing on LEGO.com Australia makes no mention of any minifigures included with 76206 Iron Man Figure, but offers a price of A$59.99 down under. Based on similarly-priced sets such as 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop, expect a price tag internationally of £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99.
We’ve had a large LEGO Iron Man action figure before, of course, in 2012’s constraction-style 4529 Iron Man – but going by the piece count and price tag of this one, we’re probably looking at a more traditional System build this time around. We’ll keep you posted with images as and when they go up on LEGO.com.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
