Every LEGO Marvel set confirmed and rumoured for 2023 – July update

We’ve now seen almost every LEGO Marvel set reportedly on the way in 2023 – but there are still a couple of rumoured products we’re waiting for the LEGO Group to unveil.

Today’s reveal of 76250 Wolverine Adamantium Claws almost completes the LEGO Marvel line-up for 2023, seemingly denouncing the rumoured Wolverine’s mask set in the process. But that same rumour mill is still also promising more to come from the superhero theme this year – including its single biggest set to date.

You can scroll down to find out more about those, but for now, here’s a complete breakdown of every single LEGO Marvel set either already confirmed or still on the cards for 2023…

Listed all together like that, a picture of the year in Marvel begins to emerge, and it’s nothing if not a mixed bag. There’s plenty of variety in subject matter and product format, for example, ranging from minifigure-led playsets to giant, buildable objects. And there are some welcome gaps being plugged, not least in Spider-Man: No Way Home’s epic finale with 76261 Spider Man Final Battle.

But for every Quinjet or Endgame set there are oddities like 76249 Venomised Groot and 76258 Captain America Construction Figure, and there are gaping holes where you’d expect Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse sets to be. It’s been a strange year for LEGO Marvel, is all we’ll say.

Still, fingers crossed the enormous direct-to-consumer set rumoured for the end of the year can finish 2023 with a bang. Keep reading for more on that, along with the only other rumoured LEGO Marvel set still to be revealed.

76232 [The Marvels]

Price: £TBC / $TBC / €89.99 Pieces: 420 Release date: TBC

Originally rumoured to release in July alongside The Marvels, this mysterious MCU set has presumably been delayed in line with the movie, which is now expected to arrive in cinemas in November. Little is known about 76232 so far, beyond a reported minifigure line-up of Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Monica Rambeau and Yan D’Aladna. Oh, and what looks like an incredibly expensive price for the number of pieces. Hmm.

76269 Avengers Tower

Price: £TBC / $524.99 / €TBC Pieces: 5,261 Release date: November 2023

An older, smaller Avengers Tower.

This is it: the big one. At 5,261 pieces, 76269 Avengers Tower is actually the biggest one for any LEGO Marvel (or even DC) set, climbing emphatically beyond 76178 Daily Bugle, 76210 Hulkbuster and so on. It’s rumoured to include at least 22 minifigures, among which are (deep breath): two Iron Man suits, Tony Stark, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, a bigfig Hulk, Hawkeye, War Machine, Falcon, Vision, Scarlet Witch, the Wasp, an Ant-Man microfigure, Nick Fury, Pepper Potts, Helen Cho, Wong, Ultron and four Chitauri.

That character line-up suggests we’re looking at a set that will draw on multiple MCU films, but mostly Avengers: Age of Ultron. As you might have already guessed, 76269 Avengers Tower is also said to be compatible with Marvel’s other modular buildings, 76178 Daily Bugle and 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum. But you’ll need deep pockets to acquire it: according to the rumours going around so far, it’s going to cost a staggering $524.99…

Remember that all rumours should still be taken with a grain of salt until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group – you never know when they might be wrong

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
