More details spotted for rumoured LEGO Marvel 76269 Avengers Tower
An enormous LEGO Avengers Tower is rumoured to be on its way – with a large cast of minifigures to populate it.
brick_clicker is sharing more details about the rumoured LEGO Marvel 76269 Avengers Tower on Instagram that all suggest it will be a very exciting set for Marvel fans. With a rumoured piece count of a whopping 5261 (several hundred more than 76178 Daily Bugle), there’s enough space for plenty of detail for the brick-built building.
Plus, there will be 22 minifigures included in the set, including a range of reportedly exclusive new minifigures: two Iron Man suits, a big-fig Hulk, Vision, Falcon, the Wasp, Ultron, Hawkeye, Helen Cho, and an Antman microfigure. On top of these exclusive ones, brick_clicker shared that Thor, Tony Stark, Captain America, Black Widow, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Pepper Potts, Nick Fury, Wong, and four Chitauri as reused minifigures.

As you might be able to tell from the named characters there, the focus of the set is Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, it’s believed that the set will contain references to a number of MCU titles, not just the second Avengers movie. What’s more, as we expressed hope for before, 76269 Avengers Tower is rumoured to be compatible with other LEGO Marvel modulars, such as 76178 Daily Bugle and 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum.
The bountiful cast contains enough characters to provide almost a similar level of depth and reference-filled details as 76178 Daily Bugle. However, instead of being an ode to Spider-Man, it’s virtually an ode to the Avengers and their era in the MCU. Of course, these rumours haven’t been confirmed by the LEGO Group as of yet, so take them with a pinch of salt until we get official confirmation for 76269 Avengers Tower.
