LEGO Marvel 76269 Avengers Tower rumoured for November 2023
A huge LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower is finally said to be launching in November 2023, with an eye-watering price tag of $524.99.
That would make it nearly the most expensive LEGO Marvel set of all time, coming in only $25 cheaper than last year’s 76210 Hulkbuster. News of 76269 Avengers Tower comes from Instagram user 1414falconfan (via reddit user FluffySky6), who reports that the build will be based specifically on the structure as it appears in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The minifigures are also said to be inspired by the 2015 Marvel Cinematic Universe film, although 1414falconfan added in a comment that there will likely be ‘much more [than] just Age of Ultron figures’. If the set follows the same format as 2021’s 76178 Daily Bugle, it doesn’t seem beyond the realm of possibility that it could include as many as (or even more than) 25 characters.
It also seems likely that 76269 Avengers Tower – if it exists at all – could be built to the modular standard, allowing it to slot in not only with 76178 Daily Bugle but also 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, 10312 Jazz Club, 10297 Boutique Hotel and so on. That’s only speculation on our part, though, in the absence of any further rumoured details on the set.
We probably won’t learn more on what’s likely to be this year’s biggest LEGO Marvel set for a little while, as FluffySky6 claims 76269 Avengers Tower will arrive on shelves in November 2023. That could position it as this year’s big Black Friday set, following 2021’s 75313 AT-AT and 2022’s 10307 Eiffel Tower.
