Mysterious LEGO MASTERS GWP Cast & Crew set appears online

A unique and previously-unseen LEGO MASTERS GWP Cast & Crew set has appeared online in the shape of a mysterious model.

LEGO MASTERS UK recently returned to the small screen with a celebrity-packed Christmas special that aired on Channel 4. In addition, visitors to their local LEGO Stores in January had the opportunity to take part in the Build Like a Master competition and win a year’s supply of LEGO sets, plus the Leicester Square location saw show judges Amy Corbett and Matthew Ashton turning up to meet fans.

Now, thanks to the LEGO Group’s Product Certification page, we’re getting our first look at a mysterious and previously-unseen promotional set related to the show. Although information on the freely-downloadable document is thin on the ground, we can pick up a few facts from the small image shown of 5007713 LEGO MASTERS GWP Cast & Crew. The brick-built model appears to be primarily constructed from white, grey and black elements and features an ‘LM’ logo on a display stand.

Based on the name of the set, it may simply be a promotional thank-you item handed out to those who have worked on LEGO MASTERS shows in various territories, and unlikely to be something that pops up as a free GWP with specific threshold spends at some future date.

There’s currently no word regarding when (or if) LEGO MASTERS UK will return for a third season or more one-off specials. LEGO MASTERS USA recently completed its current third season run with a three-part Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular, although that particular version of the show has already been renewed for a fourth season.

I’m a finalist of Legomasters French Season 3, and we had the same set in yellow and red.
