LEGO NINJAGO Executive Producer was “wary” of 11-minute format
LEGO NINJAGO Executive Producer Tommy Andreasen has admitted he was wary of the new format for Season 11.
When LEGO NINJAGO Season 11 arrives, each episode will be half the length they have been previously – just 11 minutes each. Fans are uncertain about the new move, and even the series’ Executive Producer had his doubts. But Tommy Andreasen took to Twitter to confirm it has worked out well:
Though I was a bit wary of the idea of 11 minute episodes in Ninjago, I gotta say it really gives some wild and fun opportunities … I can’t wait for you guys to experience what this new format has offer. Ideas we have had for years can finally be realized. So much potential!
A teaser trailer was released for the new season a few weeks ago:
The LEGO Group’s announcement emphasised that the new season “remains true to the story canon and the characters”, going on to state: “This is not a reboot, nor a spin-off, but merely a brand-new adventure. A fresh beginning helps new viewers to watch and discover the magic of NINJAGO without knowing much about the 100 episodes prior.”
The 30 new episodes will air on Cartoon Network.
