LEGO SDCC 2012 Marvel Super Heroes Phoenix next for VIP sweepstakes

The next LEGO VIP sweepstakes will offer the 2012 San Diego Comic Con exclusive Pheonix minifigure, from the Marvel Super Heroes theme, as the prize.

LEGO.com’s VIP Reward Scheme is giving away desirable minifigures every month, with fans able to use 50 points to buy entries into the prize draw. The current prize is the San Diego Comic Con 2012 exclusive DC Super Heroes Bizarro.

On August 17, a new prize will be offered, also from eight years ago. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Phoenix will be the latest rare minifigure offered as the coveted prize, with fans needing to use VIP points to ‘buy’ entries in the raffle.

While the precise edition size for the minifigure was not announced, it was a very small number – few San Diego Comic Con attendees walked away with the minifigure.

The new was shared on the LEGO Store calendar for August, which was highlighted by the Brick Fan.

Previous prizes have includes the San Diego Comic Con exclusive Deadpool Duck. Other recent VIP exclusives have been a signed LEGO Star Wars book, 75522 Droid Commaner polybag and the sweepstakes for a White Boba Fett minfigure.
