Fans are struggling to get hold of LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon, as the set has sold out online and in LEGO Stores around the world.
75192 Millennium Falcon, the largest ever LEGO set, was launched this morning after much hype and fanfare. The first 150 sets were sold at midnight last night at the LEGO Store Leicester Square, completely selling out. This morning the LEGO Star Wars set was available to VIPs at shop.LEGO.com.
The set was entirely sold out at UK LEGO Stores earlier today, with the LEGO Store at the Westfield Sherpherd’s Bush running out within twenty minutes. The LEGO Store in Brighton had 16 of the sets in stock, with fans queuing up from 8.30am before the store opened at 9am. Everyone who was in line got one, but the stock was gone immediately.
Over in the USA, the Delaware LEGO Store had completely sold out within 30 minutes of opening, with a similar story looking to be common across the US. In fact, reports coming in from around the world suggest that very few – if any – LEGO Stores have any stock left, so fans who want 75192 Millennium Falcon should buy it immediately if they see it.
More stock is expected, but as the LEGO Ideas 21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V has shown, it may be a while before more trickles through the distribution chain.
