LEGO Star Wars 75294 Bespin Duel found in Canada

Originally intended as a convention exclusive, LEGO Star Wars 75294 Bespin Duel may be getting a wider release than expected, as the set has turned up at an independent toy store in Canada.

LEGO Star Wars 75294 Bespin Duel, a new 18+ set revealed in August, will be available at LEGO.com and presumably LEGO Stores too from September 1. In Canada, it will also be available at Toys R Us.

It turns out though that the set will also be available elsewhere, the Brick Fan reports. A reader of the website managed to pick up the set in a store called Benjo in Quebec City, suggesting that the set will be a regular release product.

75294 Bespin Duel recreates the epic duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, where the Dark Lord revealed his familial connection to his son. It is rumoured to have been intended as an exclusive for Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, the convention that has been cancelled as a result of the global pandemic.

Bizarrely, the 295 piece set has been labeled as 18+, encouraging children to steer clear of what looks to be a model that would be great for play as well as display.
