LEGO Star Wars 75318 The Child available now

Just as Baby Yoda returns to screens in Star Wars: The Mandalorian, LEGO Star Wars 75318 The Child launches, offering a LEGO statue of Baby Yoda.

Brick Fanatics first shared word of this Baby Yoda set, LEGO Star Wars 75318 The Child, back in June, before a few lucky fans could buy it in Luxembourg in August. Finally, everyone can own the model as it is now available from LEGO.com.

75318 The Child arrives to coincide with the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, which begins today on Disney+. The set is priced at £69.99 in the UK, $79.99 in the USA and €77.97 in Germany.

Turn the cuteness factor up to the max with this LEGO Star Wars The Child (75318) build-and-display model. Authentic details of this popular character, affectionately known as Baby Yoda, are recreated in LEGO style, with posable head, ears and mouth for different expressions, plus the Child’s favourite toy – a gearshift knob (element included) – for it to hold just like it does in Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

“When I received the challenge to create a LEGO brick-built version of the Child, I knew that I had to get it just right,” said Design Manager Michael Lee Stockwell when 75318 was announced. “The goal was to capture the charm, and above all, the cuteness of the character, so we worked meticulously, choosing and placing each and every brick. We even included authentic details like the gearstick knob – a favourite toy of the Child as seen in the series.”
