LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition detailed
More details of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s upcoming Galactic Edition have been revealed, including what the DLC packs are based on.
It has now been confirmed that the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Character Collection 2 will include six DLC packs featuring playable characters inspired by Star Wars: Andor, LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fett, Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. These will add more than 30 minifigures to the roster of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
This new collection will be part of the Galactic Edition of the game, which includes all 13 DLC packs digitally for $79.99. It will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch or for $69.99 on PC. The Galactic Edition launches on November 1.
Social media posts following this announcement have also confirmed that at least the Clone Wars DLC will be arriving in November 2022 as well. It seems plausible that the rest of the DLC in the second Character Collection will be available at a similar time too, though nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing. Note that the first Character Collection was released in waves, with some packs available at launch and others saved for a later date.
For those who already own LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, a bundle featuring both Character Collections will be available for $24.99 or each collection can be purchased individually for $14.99. That means the six new DLC packs will be available together for $14.99, or they can also be purchased individually for $2.99.
So far, it has been confirmed that Cassian Andor (inspired by the minifigure in 75338 Ambush on Ferrix), Reva and Captain Rex are coming to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in the new Character Collection.
