Seven themes of LEGO summer 2022 sets might be revealed soon

A retailer has begun a countdown to tease that several themes of LEGO summer 2022 sets may be planned for a reveal in the coming days.

JB Spielwaren has updated its Instagram story to include a countdown next to logos for a selection of themes. These include Minecraft, DOTS, CITY, DUPLO, NINJAGO, Creator and Friends. The countdown is paused due to the nature of Instagram stories but from the time of posting to the time of writing, it has around one day and 12 hours remaining.

Text reading “Many new LEGO sets in June” and the fact that JB Spielwaren is a retailer may suggest that they know when the summer 2022 sets from these themes will be revealed. Based on this, we may be getting our first look at dozens of new models by early Monday morning, May 1, 2022.

That’s the same day as the upcoming May the 4th LEGO Star Wars event starts for VIP members, so it may be that the official online store updates with the start of the month to fully reveal the summer 2022 ranges for these themes.

Another retailer recently added listings that might offer a preview of what to expect and you can find them by clicking on the relevant theme – Minecraft, CITY, NINJAGO, Creator.

Three LEGO CITY models also now have a full suite of images, revealing the upcoming farm subtheme and lots of new animal bricks.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
