LEGO Super Mario Power-Up Packs introductory video

A new video spotlights the upcoming LEGO Super Mario Power-Up Packs that will be part of the new theme.

Yesterday, The LEGO Group and Nintendo announced four new LEGO Super Mario Power-Up Packs to enhance the ways fans can play with and customise their levels. First rumoured right here at Brick Fanatics, they will each provide a different outfit for the Mario figure and unlock new features and coin-collecting skills.

Now, a video has been released, in which Lead Designer Jonathan Bennink says: “We are taking the core experience of LEGO Super Mario and dressing it up even more.”

They are “four quick changes to attire that offer even entirely new ways to play with your levels,” he explains. “First, there is the Fire Mario Suit, swap it onto your LEGO Mario to start firing fireballs at LEGO Mario’s enemies.”

The three additional Power-Up Pack sets are 71371 Propeller Mario Power-Up Pack, 71372 Cat Mario Power-Up Pack and 71373 Builder Mario Power-Up Pack.

To use any of these packs or sets in the theme, fans will need 71360 Adventures With Mario Starter Course.
