LEGO Super Mario set names revealed

Only a few sets have been announced in the LEGO Super Mario theme, with more expansion packs now revealed.

This year marks the 35th birthday of Super Mario, hence the launch of the LEGO theme with a digital component. An entire range will be available from August 1, with 71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course required to play the game.

71366 Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set and 71369 Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set are the only two expansion packs announced so far. A tie-in app will also be released to complement the sets when they launch in August.

Automodely has listed the following sets under the theme’s LEGO codename, ‘Leaf’, the Brick Fan reports:

71362 Piranha Attack
71363 Desert Pokey
71364 Whomp’s Fortress
71365 Bullet Bill’s Fire
71366 Piranha Plant Power Slide
71367 Mario’s House and Yoshi
71368 Toad’s Treasure Hunt
71369 Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle

LEGO Super Mario is not Nintendo’s first brick-building product

Various outfit packs are also expected for the Super Mario figure.

The retailer has also revealed that LEGO Star Wars will be bringing Baby Toda to the brick in 75318 The Child and that the four rumoured LEGO Wall Art sets are the real deal.
