Turn your LEGO VIP points into postcards with new reward
A new VIP reward has appeared on the official online LEGO store, revealing that you can now redeem your points for customised postcards.
Shoppers with extra VIP credit burning a hole in their account and looking for a way to spend them now have new options themed to NINJAGO, Collectible Minifigures, CITY and Friends – each of which can feature your custom minifigure or mini-doll creation.
For just 600 points each, LEGO VIP members can now redeem a promotional code to use on the unique LEGO postcards website. From there, you can select between the four themes with three backgrounds each as well as text and the personalised look for your character with a variety of options to choose from.
An additional step is needed when creating a Friends VIP postcard as the legs of the mini-doll must be picked between jeans, shorts and other clothing. You can see a preview for four of the 12 backgrounds above with new renders created to showcase the themes and their sets, including 60271 Main Square.
It seems unlikely that this reward will only be available for a limited time as there is no mention of availability. However, the reward does mention that postcards can take between two and three weeks to arrive at your address with no fees for delivery.
Anyone short on VIP points but looking to get some of the new LEGO Super Mario sets can look forward to three new bundles with bonus credit upon purchase until October 10.
