LEGOLAND Windsor’s MYTHICA to include man’s best (feathered) friend

LEGOLAND Windsor will be celebrating an anniversary and opening a new land this year and is continuing to reveal the menagerie of models that will feature throughout the MYTHICA expansion.

We’re almost at the halfway point of LEGOLAND Windsor’s MYTHICA model reveals as the sixth of the 13 models has now been revealed. So far the mythical creatures have included a Hydra, Chimera, Mouse Butterfly and more.

The latest addition was revealed on the Resort’s social media accounts, including their Twitter profile. As can be seen in the teaser image, the new fantastical animal is a combination of a Peacock and a Dog, more affectionately known as the Peadog.

Just like all of the teaser images so far, not much of the model can be seen but we do know it is made up of 24,456 pieces. No doubt a lot of them went into the Peacock plumage that looks to be made of thousands of 1×1 bricks in a variety of colours.

The model designers at LEGOLAND Windsor have definitely been able to stretch their creative muscles with this new expansion, which promises to include an attraction that is making it’s UK debut and will open later this year. Seven more models remain to be seen for MYTHICA, including one inspired by a fan design.
