There’s an interesting link between LEGO’s D&D and Horizon sets

The upcoming LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set has an interesting link to 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck.

Lucas Bolt, also known as Bolt Builds is the fan designer behind the upcoming LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set, which will be based on the Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End project. However, he has a link to another set thanks to his position as a senior environment artist at Guerrilla Games.

Guerilla Games is the studio behind the Horizon franchise, a series of games with a sequel that inspired 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck. While Lucas’ involvement is undoubtedly more prevalent in the upcoming LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons models, this link could be the perfect excuse to mix the Aloy minifigure in with the upcoming set.

Even with Lucas’ Bolt Builds online LEGO identity, this unlikely coincidence presents a notable link between two LEGO sets, though one has yet to release.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
