Lucasfilm Games is the new face of LEGO Star Wars games

Star Wars is starting the year with a new look for its video games, including LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, as it begins a new era under a fresh name.

Lucasfilm Games has been announced as they identity for all past, present and future Star Wars video games and other titles related to Lucasfilm properties, including Indiana Jones.

Along with the announcement came the launch of new social media channels for Lucasfilm Games on Facebook and Twitter as well as a sizzle reel of recent Star Wars releases, including one that might be familiar.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the third game to be highlighted as part of the sizzle reel, with some previously revealed gameplay being shown in its own section, and at the end of the trailer. Unfortunately, no new footage was shown, and it was the only one of the highlighted games to have not yet released.

Other included games were Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Knights of the Old Republic, The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu and Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Fans can look towards the new social channels for breaking news on these games and others that will be part of the future catalogue.

The new logo for Lucasfilm Games was also announced as being included in all future titles, including LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The last official word on the new LEGO video game was news of its editions and pre-order bonuses, including an exclusive Luke Skywalker minifigure.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
