Milwaukee Art Museum passes through to LEGO Ideas review

Milwaukee Art Museum is the latest project to gather enough support to proceed to the LEGO Ideas review stage.

Yet another LEGO Ideas project has gathered the necessary 10,000 votes, passing through to the next stage of the review process. The project in question depicts the Milwaukee Art Museum with a particularly unique design.

The model now passes through to the LEGO Ideas review panel, where designers will decide if the project is suitable for an official release. Vidaandras, the creator of the project, explains his inspiration behind the model on its product idea page.

“As a long time LEGO fan, I was really excited to try and represent Santiago Calatrava’s Milwaukee Art Museum pavilion. With a background in architecture, I was always fascinated about the architectural language Calatrava is using. Trying to represent the beautiful curves and lines from the real building was challenging, but after some structure tests and shape studies, I arrived at my build.”

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
