Make a miniature garden with latest LEGO Ideas project to hit 10K

An adjacent addition to the Botanical Collection is being proposed via a Japanese garden on LEGO Ideas as it reaches the third 2022 review.

The Japanese Courtyard Garden by COFFEE PANDA is the most recent project to reach the third 2022 review after hitting 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. As the name suggests, this is a miniature recreation of a traditional Japanese garden that’s as culturally educational as it is detailed.

As the description of the project notes, the various items arranged in the garden have their translations in Japanese explained and this concept could be incorporated into the instructions manual should it become a real LEGO Ideas set.

This display model could work well as a space filler anywhere in the home or on a shelf between other builds or books. 2,997 pieces were used for this project, which could be small enough for a LEGO Ideas set given that it comes under 21318 Tree House, 21323 Grand Piano and 21330 Home Alone

It’s not a LEGO Ideas model yet though, as it will need to impress the judges in the third 2022 review when it closes, which is still a long way off at the time of writing.

For now, here’s a look at every submission in the third 2022 review so far as the latest round’s selection continues to grow:

Japanese Courtyard Garden
The Lost City
Pac-Man Moving Display
Castle Dracula
This Is Fine
Ancient Roman Temple
