New LEGO Botanical Collection sets coming on May 1

A new tease for the LEGO Botanical Collection has revealed that additional entries in the subtheme are on the way next month.

At least one new LEGO Botanical Collection model will either be revealed or released on May 1 as the LEGO Group’s social media team has shared a tease for what’s next to the realistic variety of models designed for those with green thumbs.

Previous rumours for the collection suggest that an Orchid could be on the way in 2022. In the teaser, we can see a framed sketch featuring a cactus, but there may also be an orchid hidden somewhere in the short clip.

The presence of a cactus suggests that it might be coming to the Botanical Collection next month, though nothing has been officially confirmed at the time of writing.

Currently, the LEGO Botanical Collection consists of three sets – 10280 Flower Bouquet, 10281 Bonsai Tree and 10289 Bird of Paradise. You can check out our review of the trio by clicking on the respective links; 10280 Flower Bouquet, 10281 Bonsai Tree and 10289 Bird of Paradise.

We’ve got a few suggestions for future additions to the LEGO Botanical Collection, including one that appears to be on the way judging by the teaser.
