New Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker poster revealed

A new poster for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has been revealed during D23, confirming the presence of Emperor Palpatine in the film.

This December will see the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the film that Disney and Lucasfilm have declared will conclude the episodic Skywalker saga. During the D23 convention in Anaheim, California, a new poster for the film has been unveiled.

In the dramatic image, Rey and Kylo Ren are duelling on a wreckage surrounded by Sith lightning, with Emperor Palpatine looking down on the scene.

While this does not suggest much about the LEGO sets that will be released on Triple Force Friday, fans now know for sure that they might expected an Emperor Palpatine minifigure to turn up in one or more of them. Brick Fanatics has previously shared a rumour list of sets that will be released ahead of the film.

During the multi-day Disney convention, a new trailer was released for The Mandalorian series and a new Obi-Wan Kenobi series was announced.

The Brick Fanatics list of five sets fans need from the Star Wars Resistance Season 2 trailer.
