Rumoured LEGO Technic summer 2024 set details spotted online

Detailed descriptions of three LEGO Technic sets have surfaced online, revealing intriguing potential details about the upcoming sets.

Polish LEGO fan site FanKlockow has shared some detailed descriptions of three upcoming LEGO Technic sets, offering a better idea of what could be coming to the theme in August. It’s worth noting that none of these sets or details have yet been confirmed by the LEGO Group, so take the following details with a pinch of salt for now.

42173 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Grey Hypercar

Price: $49.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: Summer 2024

One of two different colour variants of the same car rumoured to be coming this summer, 42173 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Grey Hypercar is described as coming in a solid grey main colour, with a red line running the entire length of the car. The headlights are believed to be stickered and the car should also feature black rims and mirrors. The seats and interior details will be red, matching the line on the outside.

42175 Volvo FMX Truck & EC230 Electric Excavator

Price: $199.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: Summer 2024

Next up is 42175 Volvo FMX Truck & EC230 Electric Excavator, now rumoured to come in white and featuring an adjustable hood. The yellow excavator will be similar to those that came before in similar LEGO Technic sets. The truck’s trailer is rumoured to feature an additional container and the overall model is believed to be based on pneumatics, at a length of 68cm in total.

42176 Porsche GT4 e-Performance

Price: $169.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: Summer 2024

As well as an early rumour reported via Instagram user maxbautde that 42176 Porsche GT4 e-Performance is believed to have electrified front lights, a more detailed description from FanKlockow now also suggests that the car will be black, augmented with numerous blue details, such as the bumper, side sills, stickered roof, and spoiler. The build is rumoured to be 37cm long.
