Rumoured LEGO Marvel Sanctum set might cover more than one movie

A new report for the rumoured LEGO Marvel Sanctum for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness suggests it may be based on another film.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness lands in cinemas this week and – timing well with the release of the film – a new update for the previously rumoured, then listed 76218 Doctor Strange Sanctum Sanctorum, has arrived via Promobricks’ Instagram story.

According to the source, the rumoured model will not just be inspired by Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but also Avengers: Infinity War in the reported minifigure line-up.

The rumour states that 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum will include Multiverse of Madness Doctor Strange, Infinity War Wong, Scarlet Witch, Ebony Maw, Stark Suit Spider-Man, Iron Man in the MK 50 suit, Mordo, Sinister Strange and Zombie Strange.

Previously, all but Ebony Maw were reported as included in the model, though it may be that the Black Order member was the mentioned unknown character. He was last included exclusively in 76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown.

Also included in the initial LEGO Marvel report were two sets that have now been confirmed – 76216 Iron Man Armoury and 76217 I am Groot. However, that’s not to say that this rumour shouldn’t still be taken with caution until an official announcement arrives.

For more information on those two confirmed models, you can find out more including their prices and release dates in our initial articles by clicking here and here respectively.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
