The secrets of the LEGO House revealed in new book

Chronicle Books have released another LEGO-themed title, this time focusing on the many secrets that lie within the brick-shaped walls of the LEGO House.

The Secrets of LEGO House is now available at book stores across the world, with a total of 160 pages filled with images, behind-the-scenes stories and the nine core principles that drive every aspect of the tourist destination. With many unable to visit Denmark and see the home of the brick currently, such a book may be a welcome addition to pass the time until they can next return to Billund.

A preview of some of the pages has been revealed by the publisher, indicating that this coffee table novel will feature a generous array of LEGO House imagery. The description also teases that the specific zones of the location (red, yellow, blue and green) will be further explained in the book too.

The LEGO House has had a dedicated book made for it before, with Building a Dream releasing as a combination of interviews and photos – including insight from Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, Jørgen Vig Knudstorp and Bjarke Ingels.

The LEGO Group also plans to release another unique title in the future, with the first official publication aimed specifically at the older audience of fans dubbed The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks. Funding for the book has now finished and the author has been on hand at the LEGO Ideas blog to share one of the anecdotes that will dwell within the pages. The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks is currently targeting a 2022 launch.

Should you be able to visit the house soon, you might want to keep an eye out for the latest exclusive set being sold at the tourist destination – 40502 The Brick Moulding Machine. We’ve got a full review of the model so you know what to expect.
